Nurturing passionate love — LOVE × EDUCATE = LODU

Creating the Futurethrough Game

Sustainability, people development, corporate values. Policies that never reach employees. Training that feels like a chore. LODU translates these themes into board games your team plays around a table, through ready-to-run workshops or a custom game built around your business. Founded in 2021 at Kanazawa Institute of Technology, Japan.

In partnership with UNDP and FAO.

Working with Kanazawa Institute of Technology, we have developed localized card games for Bhutan and Nepal together with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO). Our flagship game has been distributed free of charge to schools in all 47 prefectures of Japan, and games developed in Japan are now used around the world.

03 Services

What we do

Learn by playing.

Custom game development

Original board games built around your business, for employee and new-hire training, recruiting events and internships, sales conversations, and outreach at schools and in local communities. We handle everything from planning to design and production, in as little as three months.

Gamified training

Ready-to-run workshops using our existing games, for sustainability, new-hire, and management training. 8 to 100 participants, from 60 minutes, in person or online. 350+ workshops delivered.

Consulting & research

Sustainability policy design, internal engagement, and how to communicate your initiatives externally, planned alongside game development and training. Our research draws on about ten years of sustainability expertise and our work with companies, local governments, and schools.

Generative AI & DX support

Practical support for companies and local governments using generative AI and digital tools to work more efficiently: mapping current tasks, finding what AI can take over, choosing and rolling out tools, and setting internal rules and workflows. Game-based workshops build the skills to keep using them, so DX takes root rather than fading.

Let's talk.

No proposal or fixed budget needed. Tell us about your theme and current challenges, and we'll explore together whether it can become a game.
